About Larry
Lifelong Texan raised in Dallas/Ft Worth. After high school I attended Texas A&M on a Track and Cross-Country Scholarship. Working odd jobs for real estate agents exposed me to a career I had never considered. Getting paid to help people fulfill their dreams for home ownership was a perfect fit for me as a real estate agent. I attended every real estate class and seminar I could. In my zeal to become a successful agent, I attended Investor Seminars, Staging Home Seminars, Buyer Agent Seminars, you name it I was there. My true education came in the real world. I soon learned that not all real estate agents and home builders shared my Christian values that I was raised on, nor my work ethic. It was from those early experiences I became determined I would serve my clients with absolute trust, honesty, hard work and with the highest degree of professionalism that I could deliver. I have found that putting my client’s needs ahead of your own is not only good ethics but a great way to run a business. I have worked as a mortgage broker, listing agent, investor and builder. These experiences allowed me to see the real estate transaction from various points of view and helped shape my negotiating skills. Recently, I used a variety of tactics such as following the 80/20 principle, using throwaways, deadlines that stop listing agents from shopping my clients offers and negotiating a fix and flip with a bank foreclosure. . I have found this statement to be true, “find something that you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life!” Real Estate is my passion. I love making my clients dreams a reality. It doesn’t matter to me if it’s a 1st time home buyer or a retired couple buying their dream vacation home. The satisfaction is the same. When I’m not working, I enjoy golfing, hiking, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, fishing and hunting. Basically, about anything that can be done outdoors.
